<p><strong>St. Peter’s Institute on the Spiritual Life     </strong>Visiting U of A professor David Goa will provide an initial reflection and animate our conversation on an exploration of the Orthodox tradition’s understanding of the nature and purpose of the church and of our liturgical life together. Each session will begin with a brief prayers service. The next two sessions will be:</p>

<p><strong>Music/Choir Practice     </strong>We will be having choir practices after Wednesday Vespers and Sunday Divine Liturgy. Each week, practices will offer an opportunity to become more comfortable with our current music as well as opportunities to become familiar with new musical arrangements. Whether you wish to stand in the choir during service or just wish to gain more confidence in your singing, you are welcome.</p>

<p><strong>Feed the Birds     </strong>Free event.  Join in to make bird seed ornaments to decorate the Christmas tree that will be outside the church.  Listen to the telling of the story of St. Nicholas at 2:00 pm.  Accepting donations for the charity &#8220;Teen Angels&#8221; which provides Christmas gifts for disadvantaged and homeless teens in our city.</p>

<p><strong>St. Peter’s Institute on the Spiritual Life     </strong>Visiting U of A professor David Goa will provide an initial reflection and animate our conversation on an exploration of the Orthodox tradition’s understanding of the nature and purpose of the church and of our liturgical life together. Each session will begin with a brief prayers service. The next two sessions will be:</p>

<p><strong>Feed the Birds     </strong>Come and make tree ornaments to feed the birds on Saturday, December 17<sup>th</sup> from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm.   New this year – “The Story of St. Nicholas” at 2:00 pm.   Open to all ages.  Event coincides with the BRZ December events.</p>

Phillip will be held at 11:00 &amp; 2:00.</p>
