Announcements – November 13

Music/Choir Practice     We will be having choir practices after Wednesday Vespers and Sunday Divine Liturgy. Each week, practices will offer an opportunity to become more comfortable with our current music as well as opportunities to become familiar with new musical arrangements. Whether you wish to stand in the choir during service or just wish to gain more confidence in your singing, you are welcome.

St. Peter’s Institute on the Spiritual Life     Visiting U of A professor David Goa will provide an initial reflection and animate our conversation on an exploration of the Orthodox tradition’s understanding of the nature and purpose of the church and of our liturgical life together. Each session will begin with a brief prayers service. The next two sessions will be:

-Wednesday, Nov. 16th, 6:30 – 8:30 - Liturgy as spiritual journey @ St. Peter the Aleut Church

-Wednesday, November 30th, 6:30 – 8:30 - Liturgy, the meaning of the hard sayings of the Liturgy @ St. Peter the Aleut Church

Register Your Interest: Our knowledge and understanding and our conversation grows from session to session. Do come to all of the sessions if you are able. Kindly register your interest with Fr. Phillip.  Note: Families with children are more than welcome.
