House Blessing Schedule     On the bulletin board in the narthex there is a schedule of available times for house blessings for the next 6 weeks.   Please look over the available times and either indicate when you would like to have your home blessed on the copy at the church – or – call Fr. Phillip at 403-686-4270 to arrange a mutually suitable time.

St. Peter’s Institute on the Spiritual Life     Visiting U of A professor David Goa will provide an initial reflection and animate our conversation on an exploration of the Orthodox tradition’s understanding of the nature and purpose of the church and of our liturgical life together. Each session will begin with a brief prayers service. The next two sessions will be:

Feed the Birds     Free event.  Join in to make bird seed ornaments to decorate the Christmas tree that will be outside the church.  Listen to the telling of the story of St. Nicholas at 2:00 pm.  Accepting donations for the charity “Teen Angels” which provides Christmas gifts for disadvantaged and homeless teens in our city.

Feed the Birds     Come and make tree ornaments to feed the birds on Saturday, December 17^th from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm.   New this year – “The Story of St. Nicholas” at 2:00 pm.   Open to all ages.  Event coincides with the BRZ December events.

Fall Festival     The annual Fall Festival will be held at the church on Saturday, November 12 from 10 am – 4 pm.  There will be a homemade soup and pie café, perogies and ethnic baked goods for sale, and various arts and crafts including: paintings, feather earrings, soaps, knit items, purses, beeswax candles, and turquoise and Swarovski crystal jewelry.  Discover the Ancient Orthodox Christian Faith presentations by Fr. Phillip will be held at 11:00 & 2:00.
